a trip to Cork
Cork - The Rebel County If you want to get away from it all you could do much worse than a trip to Ireland's second city. The county of Cork offers beautiful scenery, great nightlife and is steeped in history. The town of Cobh was the port from which millions set sail during the great migrations to the US and Australia. Kinsale is a beautiful harbour town a few miles west from Cork City and was the landing point for the Armada of 1601.
It's also the home of some of the worlds greatest breweries - Murphy's, Beamish and the very wonderful Kinsale Brewing Company are based here.
The welcome is warm, the craic is great and the Beamish flows down from the valleys of paradise itself.
